Casa naranja guest house is located in Seron.Seron is a mountain village located in inland Almeria province close to the border with Granada province.
Seron is about ten minutes from Las Menas or Bayarque which are up in the mountains
Seron is located approximately twenty minutes from the market towns of Baza or Albox depending on which direction
you drive.
Seron is about forty five minutes drive to the coast , but we are only five minutes
from the thermal spring at Cela (which is where the locals go to sit in the sun and swim in the lovely warm water)
Thirty minutes drive will take you to Lake Negratin, which is a large inland water reservoir that has its own beach
and pedaloes to hire.
Seron is located off the main A334
Huercal Overa - Baza road.
The best airports for seron are
either Almeria or Granada, which are both served by Ryan Air and Easyjet. They are approximately just over an hours drive.
Directions from Almeria Airport via motorway.
On leaving airport bear right signposted Murcia, follow this road to next roundabout, turn left signposted Murcia
A7 E15, at next roundabout join A7 E15 heading for Murcia. Stay on this motorway until you get to junction 547
signposted Albox/Baza A334. Continue along this road through Albox until you see the sign to Seron. Drive into Seron and after
passing coca cola factory on the left hand side, turn left at the primary school then 1st road on the right. Follow this road
round the bends to the top of the hill where you will be facing the white church. Park here and Casa Naranja is on the right.
Alternative route from Almeria Airport over the mountains.
This route is the quickest and shortest. It is a main road but
it goes over the mountains with many hairpin bends & steep climbs, so not for the faint hearted, but fantastic
scenery and fresh mountain air.
Leaving the airport go straight across two roundabouts until
you reach the E15 motorway. Turn westbound and leave this motorway at the next junction signposted A92 Granada Continue
up this road until junction 362 signposted Gergal and Seron. Turn right at first roundabout towards Seron after
a couple of kilometers turn left on to the A339 signposted Seron. Follow this road up over the mountains until you reach turning
for Seron. Turn left here and follow the winding road down into Seron. Casa Naranja is on the left hand side next to the church.
Directions from Granada Airport.
On leaving the airport turn eastbound on the A92. After going past Guadix,
turn onto A92n signposted Murcia. Follow this road all the way until junction 46.Take second exit at roundabout then Follow
the signs to A334. Continue along this road, and when you've driven through Hijate look for disused petrol station on
the right hand side. Turn right signposted Seron and follow this road down the hill and round the bends. At T junction
turn right up the hill past the hostal on the right hand side. Take the 1st right at primary school then 1st road on the right.
Follow this road round the bends to the top of the hill where you will be facing the white church. Park here and Casa Naranja
is on the right.
